I have a collection of my short stories and poems to be proof read before sending them to Sharon for reading.

I wrote less than half of my 1990 with story from my 2007 novel added.

The remainder of my novels need serious work.  I also need to clean the fucking house. sigh

New Name For Character

I could not make up my mind for the name of one character in both my 2015 and 2017 "National Write A Novel In A Month" novels. I finally decided on "Rowena".  Rowena White is the recently deceased wife of one of the Dodge City Lions. (RIP Rowena!)

This is yet another thing I need to fix in both novels but if that was all, I would be delighted.  I realize that all of my novels need major work...

RR 1990 more on story

Time to plan finishing my current novels. The 1990 Nobel (Visiting Ronald Regan's Boyhood Home Volume 1) features two characters and was written in two parts.  (Well, I intended to write two parts.)

Part 1 is from when QM1 Tanner leaves the Navy and thinks he can find civilian paradise by going from San Diego to Rockford Illinois. He does not..

 Part 2 is when the QM1 goes back in the Navy at "Returned Boot Camp. He has fears about going back but civilian life was a a total disappointment. There he meets AG2 Elizabeth Burgen. 😊

 In 1990, I knew this woman's first and last name and possibly the names of her two small kids. In 2005, I could barely remember her last name and no view what her kid's names are. (Maybe a close reading of 1990 will reveal the answer?) She has questions about her going back. 

So, I have to create a love story set in a 4 week boot camp. Imagine me writing a love story and later a family story.  Oh joy.. 

The 2007 story has more story involving both heroes. I have to weave these activities back into the 1990 novel... 

The 2007 story has both sailors in the Janus. I need to find where both live and plan activities between their abode and how they got to the Janus. I  can mention the police officer who was at lawyer's place. This means the lawyer would be living in the YMCA.  I'm thinking of some jackals in teh gay bar outrside ther Janus giving the LN1 grief.  QM1 tells jackals to go to the bar and have a drink. Jackals talks back. Policeman who has presence backs down Jackass by saying "one of my officers on escort duty will not be harassed by the liked of you." 

Group breaks up and they enter the Janus. 😇

The school board decided they wanted to surround the chemistry lab with a three foot wide secret coordire. An amusing thought occurred to me.  i told the archatect to put a 3 foot hall behind the girls dressing room.

Therre was surpriuse at this.

He asked why and i  mentioned the name of a school board member who refused to be critized so he does not accept criticism.  he does not discuss on the issue.

Bitchy, bitchy, the architect said. I will leave the plans untouched and do the arrangements to make a four foot coordire.

there was dead siulence.

I checked and there was no mention of the cooridores in written discussion or notes or on the plans.  the school wqiull be t1n doqwnb and the secrets wqill be known only to us.

After he had decided to "sleep foreever", Daniel {name?} wrote on a post card "You said I was very hard to wake after my surgery and I deeply regret waking. Soon I will sleep without the pain of waking.

He addressed the post card to his ex, put it on his dresser and proceeded to his "self surgery"….

Months later, "Mark" came to visit Daniel's ex. .

" So you visited Daniel in his den. How did he look to you? ".

"He had that stupid beard; he looks much better clean shaved.".

" it is a classic 'Yankee Clipper Skipper' design. It does look nice. ".

"It is the ring of fur from his ears across the top top half of his throat. Why does he have that fur?".

Mark handed her Daniel's post card. .

"This note could easily explain.".

She read the note, looked puzzled, then horrified and Mark could tell when she rejected the obvious answer.

"I don't know why.".

" Perhaps to hide a skin defect? ".

"He does not have any any skin defects!".

"Perhaps he does now?".

" i don't see what he could have. ".

"Perhaps the text about sleeping forever is a strong hint?".

" i still don't don't get it. I hate riddles! ".

"Perhaps he accidentally cut himself shaving?".

" how badly could be cut himself with a safety raxor? ".

"He was using a straight razor.".

For a brief instant, Mark knew she had grasped the horrib!e truth and then rejected it.

"Why is he living in that awful hotel?".

" his psychologist lives there. ".

"Why does he need a psychologist?".

" the beard, my dear, it all comes back to beard and the reason he feels the need for it. ".

"He lives there because his girl friend does!".

" on the contary. The woman you called his girlfriend is an exclusive Lesbian. She is not sexually attracted to our Daniel. ".. Mark paused.

"She is highly drawn to you and told me that several days of love making with Emma would finally make an honest woman of you.".

"But I am not interested in her!".

" My medical staff thinks you are. ".

There was a long pause.

"Suppose I give you some more information about his beard. He used the straight razor to cut a line across his right Carrefour artery. He could not bring himself to slice legally deep. I see what you did as an attempt to kill one of my soldiers!".

Suddenly Mark was terrifying in his rage.

"Do not anger m e again, woman!".

Mark stood and let himself out. One of his body guards, a uniformed police sergeant, gave her the cold eyed stare of a shark and she knew the Anll of Death had spoken with her and one of the Dark Angel's killers had looked her over.

It was not a happy feeling.

As the sun went down, it grew dark in what was truly Daniel's house. She was afraid, suddenly uncertain of everything and mentally adrift. Sher suddenly began to reappraise her actions and wondering if she had been played… .
