My writings, old and new...

I've been an avid reader since I was 10 and my parents subscribed me to ''Boy's Life''. We lived in a small town without TV for 3 years; my family read as many books as we could! (My wife still occasionally mentions TV shows I've never seen; I think the books I read did me more good!) I'm going to put my opinions of books I've read and especially those I could not finish.

Enemy Domestic

The President's Oath of Office

The president is required by Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution to take the following oath of office:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Most presidents choose to take that oath while placing a hand on a Bible, which is often open to a specific verse that is important to the times or to the incoming commander-in-chief.

A couple of years later Trump said he had never sworn an Oath of Allegiance to Protect the Constitution...

Finally, after waiting decades after taking the oath multiple time, I am finally seeing the face of "enemy domestic". Sadly, he is only one of many, many...

I am saddened that I have any examples.
